FISMULER

Fismuler in Andorra la Vella: Generous Mediterranean Cuisine

Fismuler offers Mediterranean cuisine blending Spanish, French and Portuguese influences, all in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Located in the heart of Andorra la Vella, this restaurant offers a pleasant setting, with understated décor and soft lighting that invites you to unwind. At weekends, live music evenings add a festive touch to the experience.

One of Fismuler’s highlights is its RAW Bar, where guests can watch the chef prepare each dish live. This concept allows you to appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and the attention given to every plate, whether it’s ceviche, carpaccio or tartare. It’s the perfect place to start your meal with fresh, light and flavourful dishes.

The main menu is designed for sharing, with a wide selection of starters that make you want to try everything. To fully enjoy the experience, I recommend ordering several starters to share tapas-style, followed by one main course per person.

Our Culinary Experience

Restaurant Fismuler – Sea Bream Ceviche & Scallops

The starters: freshness and creativity

Pacific scallops with piparra emulsion The scallops were exceptionally fresh. The piparra emulsion—a mild, slightly tangy Basque pepper—added an original touch that delicately enhanced the dish. A surprising yet successful combination, perfect for those who enjoy bold flavours.

Semi-cooked sea bream ceviche with almonds and black grapes A classic, beautifully executed. The perfectly semi-cooked sea bream paired harmoniously with crunchy almonds and juicy black grapes. A well-balanced dish, ideal to start the meal.

Spanish omelette with fried squid and squid ink sauce This was the least convincing dish of the evening. The runny centre of the omelette and the fried squid were enjoyable, but the overall dish lacked lightness. The squid ink sauce made the dish rather heavy, and a crunchy or acidic element could have brought better balance.

The highlight: Red crab rice

Without a doubt, the best dish of the evening. The perfectly cooked rice was immersed in a rich, flavourful shellfish bisque. The generously served crab added a luxurious touch to an already exceptional dish. A must-try, whether shared as a starter or enjoyed as a main course.

Main courses: variety and quality

The giant Milanese (San Román veal cutlet, egg and truffle) For lovers of breaded meat, this dish is a real treat. The cutlet, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, was served with a soft-boiled egg that added a creamy touch. However, this dish may feel a little too classic for those looking for more original flavours—or even a bit too much. It’s more about the spectacle, fried meat and generous portions than refined gastronomy.

Charcoal-grilled sea bass and “Crying Tiger” beef cheek Both dishes were particularly successful. The charcoal-grilled sea bass was perfectly cooked, with delicate and flavourful flesh. The beef cheek, meltingly tender and enhanced by a spicy sauce, offered a rich and satisfying tasting experience.

Desserts: classic yet varied

Chocolate lava cake A timeless classic, executed perfectly. The molten centre and intense chocolate flavour were enhanced by homemade vanilla ice cream, adding a welcome touch of freshness.

Brazo de Venus This dessert stands out for its lightness and balance. Made of layers of sponge cake and cream, it offers an airy texture and a delicate flavour without being overly sweet.

Pecan lava cake Original and less sweet than a traditional lava cake, this dessert stands out thanks to the perfect balance between the soft, molten centre and the crunch of the pecans. A real success—and my favourite dessert of the evening.

Sheep’s milk cheesecake This sheep’s milk cheesecake offered a refreshing alternative to the classic version. The texture was slightly dry, but the distinctive flavour of the sheep’s cheese added real character to the dessert.

Some dishes, such as the squid omelette or the Milanese, could be improved, but the restaurant’s highlights—especially the red crab rice and the desserts—more than make up for it.
